Ron has been working with foster care and adoption services since 1986. Growing up in Southgate, he graduated from Newport Central Catholic High School. Ron received his Bachelors in Social Work and Sociology from Thomas More College and his Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. Ron and his wife Julie reside in Campbell County. They reared their five children of whom four came to them through adoption.>
Gene joined the Foster Care team in July of 2012. He and his wife Shellie have served as foster parents to 28 children over 14 years, adopting three of them. Gene has been training families for foster care and adoption for the past 15 years. He also enjoys training for the Family Nurturing Center’s Father program. He is a graduate of Asbury College, and an ordained minister.
Natalie joined DCCH in 2018 as the Foster Care and Adoption Recruiter. She grew up in Northern Kentucky and is an alumni of Notre Dame Academy. Natalie graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
Jessica joined DCCH in 2005 as a Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist at the Residential Facility working with children. In 2013, Jessica joined the Foster Care and Adoption team. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from Miami University, and completed her Masters in School Counseling at Xavier University. Additionally, Jessica is on the leadership board for Prosper Avondale, a community-based charitable organization committed to the peace and prosperity of Avondale, an urban neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Sarah joined DCCH in 2015 as a Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist at the Residential Facility working with children. In 2016, Sarah joined the Foster Care and Adoption team as a Case Manager. Sarah graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies.
Brittany graduated from Holmes High School in 2008 and Northern Kentucky University in December of 2014. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a minor in Mental Health and Human Services. Brittany spent two years with Ireland Home Based Services serving families in Southeastern Indiana. She is also an active member in her home church.
Danielle moved to Northern Kentucky from Australia in 2016, where she was the director of an after school care program. She had graduated from the University of Queensland (in Brisbane, Australia) in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in psychology. Danielle became involved with DCCH in 2016 as a Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist in the residential program, then joined the Therapeutic Foster Care team as a case manager in 2017.
Nick joined DCCH in 2017 as a Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist in the residential treatment facility working with children. In 2019, Nick joined the foster care and adoption team as a Case Manager. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Services and Addictions. Nick is currently enrolled at Xavier University in the Master’s program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
