LATEST NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
A local NKY Girl Scouts troop has been partnering with DCCH's Foster Care Program while earning their prestigious Silver Award.
The girls were in the thick of planning when COVID hit. Like good troopers, they did not give up but re-strategized their project. The final portion is wrapping up with a unique message highlighting the need for more foster and adoptive parents. The girls designed four different bookmarks, each with a foster care message and printed 1,000 copies. With the help of other NKY Girl Scout troops, the bookmarks will be distributed across our region by including them in local cookie deliveries.
Troop 2173 really exemplifies the Scouting spirit, and DCCH is so grateful for their partnership! We encourage everyone to return the gift by purchasing a box (or two) of cookies!
Foster families are very much needed and appreciated. Whether you serve a child for a lifetime or a season, you will have an impact that could change the course of their life for the better.
DCCH was recently selected as this year's Nonprofit Recipient by the Women's Initiative of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and will be recognized at their virtual Annual Breakfast event on February 2!
Attendees will get to learn more about DCCH and have the opportunity to donate in support of our programs. All are welcome to attend; click this link to register.

More than anything, the children in our Residential Treatment Program want a loving home, and DCCH works to help them get there.
You can help survivors of child abuse prepare for the next leg of their journey with a gift to our Christmas Appeal. Contributions help cover costs of trauma-informed therapy that give our children the tools they'll need to thrive in a family setting.
