Neighbors Helping Neighbors
A beautiful story of a neighbor helping a neighbor.
Kelli and David Anderson have a Pendleton County farm. Their family befriended long-time neighbor and DCCH foster mom Monica Meyer, along with her children. During the COVID crisis, their kids played together, and the two families shared in support of one another. After Monica’s unexpected death in the fall of 2021, the Andersons quickly stepped up.
They welcomed the children into their home; through adoption, Ayden and Ashton are official members of the Anderson family. DCCH congratulates and thanks Kelli, David, Preston, Brynndon, and Isabelle for giving these brothers a forever home!
If you would like to learn more about how you can help children in foster care, we would love to hear from you!
