Notes To HALO Members
The HALO League is a group of dedicated DCCH volunteers who share endlessly of their time, talent, and treasure to give the children in our care special moments like fun outings and birthday and holiday parties. They also spend time with them, doing crafts, watching movies, and eating pizza.
Since COVID, HALO hasn’t been able to visit in person…so they went virtual! Zoom calls and online crafting sessions make sure our children feel loved and seen. Check out these sweet notes from children in one of our apartments.
Thank you to the HALO League for always being there for our kiddos! You’re making a rough time a little less so.
