WAYS TO DONATE
Individual
Club 1848
Since 1848, DCCH has been committed to providing healing and hope to children and families across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. By joining Club 1848 and donating less than $20 a month you can become a heart healer and make a lasting impact.
Impact Donations
It costs $508 a day, per child to run our residential facility. While the state reimburses us $336 a day, per child, that leaves us with a deficit each day of over $5,000. We rely on the generosity of donors like you to continue offering wrap-around, trauma-informed care to those we serve. Consider donating today.
Kroger Rewards
Did you know that you can support DCCH every time you shop at Kroger? By signing up for the Kroger Rewards Program and choosing DCCH as your non-profit of choice, Kroger will donate a portion of revenue from your purchases to us each quarter. It is a great way to help without any upfront costs! Join today and shop for a cause!
Personal Securities
Stocks, Dividends, Qualified Charitable Distribution, Foundations and more! If there is a way for you to give, we are blessed by it! Talk to your Financial Advisor today or click below to learn more about the Endow Tax Credit in Kentucky.
In–kind donations
Product Donations
DCCH is a 24-hour care facility and that means we are always in need of hygiene products, clothing for our kids, cleaning supplies, arts and craft materials, food, and more. If you have kids of your own at home, just think of all the needs and wants they have and then times that by 32! If you, your company, or even your friend group would like to do a product drive or donation please contact our in-kind coordinator, Jessica Thompson today!
Flea Market Donations
By donating your gently used household items to the DCCH Flea Market you help support the children living at DCCH. The kids say "Thank You" every time they are given clothes, shoes, a new book, or a toy your dollars helped provide for them. You help #changealife!
Volunteer Opportunities
There are many opportunities at DCCH, either working directly with the children, or fulfilling one of our vital support roles. No matter which functions you consider, you will have a significant impact on the lives of those in our care. Thanks to the compassion, generosity, and dedication of this community, we are all able to meet and exceed the needs of children living at DCCH.
