Facility Maintenance Technician
JOB SUMMARY
DCCH is a non-profit social service agency serving children and families seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, be detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to keep our facilities running efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on low voltage systems, hydraulics, and other mechanical components.
- Analyze schematics to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems effectively.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in repairs and installations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members on technical sales projects, offering insights based on field service experience.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed to support maintenance operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with low-voltage systems, hydraulics, and schematics is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in customer service roles is a plus, enhancing your ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Technical sales experience is beneficial for understanding client needs and providing solutions.
