    Direct Child Care Staff

    DCCH Center for Children and Families is seeking Therapeutic Behavioral Specialists for full time positions in our Residential Treatment program.

    The primary responsibility of this position is cleaning a unit in which the children live. The role also includes the therapeutic supervision of children with emotional and/ or behavioral difficulties. The children at DCCH have experienced trauma, and it takes a special person who can help them heal and find hope in a brighter future. This position requires:

    • general cleaning and upkeep of a residential unit,
    • supporting children in crisis,
    • providing therapeutic solutions to address challenging behaviors, and
    • facilitating positive outcomes with children who sometimes have difficulty connecting with others.

    Candidates must be compassionate and have strong relationship building skills to support our Trauma Informed approach. Positions include a full benefit package, tuition reimbursement and optional pension plan.
